Any taxes or fees that may result or become due in regard to both cash and non-cash prizes are stricktly the responsibility of the prize winner. Rules, restrictions, blackout dates, age requirements or any other rules regarding non-cash prizes are determined soley by the donating party and are not the responsibility of the Presenters.
Only the 3,000 pre-determined Race Ducks, whether adopted or unadopted, will be launched and race to the finish line. Winners of the guaranteed cash prizes will be determined based on the first 3 (three) qualifying (sold/adopted) ducks to sequentially finish the race and be gathered in the duck trap. If a duck that finishes and is gathered into the ducktrap is an "orphan" (a duck that has not been sold or adopted), it will be disqualified as a prize winner and the next sequential finisher will be selected. The process will continue until a cash winner for each place (1st, 2nd and 3rd) is determined.
Pond Ducks are not qualified or eligible for the cash prizes and will not be placed in the duck race. The 1,000 Pond Ducks will be kept separate in a retaining "pond" (swimming pool) from which winners will be randomly selected by net for the hourly NON-CASH prize drawings occurring throughout the event dates on both October 7th & 8th.
Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries. No purchase or contribution is necessary to win. A purchase or contribution does not increase your chances of winning. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for the Presenters, but you may request a duck number for no donation by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope along with your request to the H2O Lucky Duck Race, c/o
